The date of your event has been re-scheduled from Saturday 16th June to Saturday 30th June, the the case of the Challenge Rides and from Friday 15th June to Friday 29th June in the case of the Tyne 6 Bridges Rides.
1/ transfer you entry to the new date
2/ a full refund of your entry fees
Why are we changing the dates?
The Cyclone Festival has been invited to host the 2018 National Road Championships. This is the biggest one-day cycle race of the year in the UK and represents a great opportunity to boost cycling in the area, with a big increase in rider and spectator numbers.
The National championships are run on fixed dates every year and to accommodate them, we are having to change our festival dates from 15th - 17th June to 28th June - 1st July.
We have decided take this great opportunity for the sport of cycling in the North East. But we are very aware that we are therefore changing the date of your event. We apologise again for this and hope you understand the reasons.
What do I need to do next?
If you are happy to move your entry to the new date, you don’t have to do anything. We will automatically transfer all entries to the new date. Other than the date change, the event will be run exactly as planned and arrangements on the day remain identical to those originally scheduled.
If you can’t make the new date or want to cancel your entry for any other reason, we will give you a full refund. To do this, simply email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the word “Refund” in the subject line and quoting your full name, telephone number and Rider i.d. number, which you would have received with your original entry confirmation.
